Check this out. I’m Erik Contzius from Make Tech Better, Incorporated: A Human Touch in a Silicon World, and I get asked this question all the time. “Hey! As a website designer and developer, can you do it all? Can you give me a marketing strategy, design my logo, give me search engine optimization…?”

Problem is, if anybody offers you all of those things, either they’ve got a team of 100 people, or they’re lying to you. Why? Because not one person can do all the heavy lifting. Let’s face it; a website is a marketing tool. It’s one of a myriad of marketing tools that are important to you in your industry. So why bring all of that responsibility to just one person or two people?

I like to work with a big team. My specialty is website design and development. I have a great friend that has amazing search engine optimization skills. I’ve got other people who are fantastic designers. And you have other people filled who have marketing strategies up the “wazoo.” (I’m not going to get near your wazoo!)

In any case, one person shouldn’t bear the responsibility of it all. It takes a lot of people to make sure that your brand, your industry, and the things that you’re trying to get out to the world are represented well on the internet. The thing that you’re really looking for is does somebody have a good team or backup of people that can give you the services that you need and you deserve?

And I want to offer you one other thing. It’s a free gift from me to you. It’s a free e-book. It’s called The Top Ten Mistakes People Make When Building a Website and How to Avoid Them. Just follow the instructions below. I believe they’re down there somewhere – hi! And you can get them right now.
